Ana was a highly ranked junior player from Mexico who worked hard to become the player she turned out to be. Her preparation included many tournaments of high caliber. Her game is a tenacious battle from the backcourt, with many miles to be run each time she plays. Her footwork is her strength, along with a fearless desire to win. Ana will hit the big shot when needed.
As a freshman in 2009, she won 30 singles and doubles matches for the Yellowjackets, including the deciding match for the Yellowjacket women that sent the team to the Sweet 16 in Orlando, Florida. Her doubles play is improving this year as she strives to become a more all-court player.
Ana has accepted the role as the team's number 1 player well and is competitive with all the opponents she has played, even of teams of national ranking in Division II.
2008-09: Went 7-0 in the RMAC and 14-4 at No. 3 singles ... Finished 18-4 in singles and set the school record for most wins ... She and Johnna Beatty went 10-3 at No. 2 doubles and were selected to the All-RMAC second team ... Juarez was also named to the All-RMAC second team for singles ... Set the school record with most overall wins at 29.
